1. Business Identity

LuvMuffin is the trading name for the partnership of Louise Chivers and Gayle Johnson, with the principal place of business located at 7 Winton Rd, Reading, RG2 8HH, where documents may be served.

2. Artisan Quality & Product Representation

At LuvMuffin, every treat is handcrafted.

Variations: Because our muffins are artisan-made, slight variations in color, size, and topping distribution are natural and a sign of a truly handmade product.
Imagery: Images on our website (including our signature basket shots) are for illustrative purposes. We strive for accuracy, but your muffins may vary slightly in appearance.

3. Allergen and Health & Safety Warning

Your safety is our priority. Our muffins are baked in a home-style kitchen environment. We are registered as a food production kitchen with Reading Local Authority. While we maintain strict hygiene standards, our products are prepared in an area where the following allergens are present:

Nuts and Peanuts
Dairy and Eggs
Wheat (Gluten)
Soya

If you have a severe allergy, please contact us directly before placing an order. Full ingredient lists are available upon request and are included with every shipment.

4. Ordering & Payment

Contract: A contract is formed between LuvMuffin and the customer once payment has been processed and an order confirmation email has been sent.
Pricing: All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout.
Cancellations: Because our muffins are baked to order, cancellations must be made within 2 hours of placing the order to qualify for a full refund.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Perishable Goods: Muffins are perishable. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the delivery or to provide a safe "leave-with-neighbor" instruction.
Shelf Life: For the best experience, we recommend consuming our muffins within 4 days of delivery or following the storage instructions provided in the box.
Delivery Delays: While we use reliable couriers, LuvMuffin is not responsible for delays caused by third-party shipping providers or incorrect address information.

6. Returns & Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of our food products, we do not accept returns.

Damaged Goods: If your order arrives damaged or is incorrect, please take a photo and contact us within 24 hours of receipt. We will offer a replacement or a refund at our discretion.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your "muffin business."

Data Usage: We only collect the information necessary to process your order (Name, Address, Email).
Marketing: We will only send you LuvMuffin news and offers if you explicitly "opt-in" at checkout.
Security: We do not store credit card details; all payments are processed through secure, encrypted third-party providers.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, logos, and images (such as our "Daily Bakes" photography), is the property of LuvMuffin. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
